Leftovers
There might be a point in time where you’ve cooked a week’s worth of meals and wonder what do you do with the leftovers? Or maybe you made a recipe last night and now have some leftover, what do you do with it?
For us, typically leftovers are the next day's lunch. This makes meal planning super easy. Monday’s dinner becomes Tuesday’s lunch. However, there are times where we have so much leftover at the end of the week we wind up having a day of just leftovers or combining the leftovers together. What?! Mixing foods? Yes. Be creative! You’ll find a couple recipes on here over the coming weeks and months that were born out of those times where we had leftovers we didn’t want to throw away.
When it comes to heating up leftovers, a frying pan or in the oven is always a safe bet if available. You, of course, can do a microwave, but that will typically dry things out and not give you the best texture. If you have an air fryer, that is also a great method to reheat items since it is practically just a convection oven.
